Announcing?

I found out I was pregnant in November 2018, & I announced on Christmas to family and friends. Should’ve almost been 9 weeks. I ended up miscarrying in January at 11 weeks. I was told the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks, so right around the time I announced, my babies heart stopped.. 
So I found out I’m pregnant again a few days ago and I’m literally terrified to tell anyone at all. I’m obviously going to wait until I go to the doctor and everything but when did you announce your rainbow?

I feel you. We lost our baby at 17 weeks and basically everyone knew. It was tough but I also appreciated people being aware of why I was off work for a month and my family being sensitive to it. 
This time I told my mum on Xmas Day at 6 weeks because she is my mum and if anything happens again I will want her to know, and may need her to know if my daughter needs looking after. My dad also knows as my mum told him and they are both being overwhelmingly helpful, taking stuff out to the car so I don't have to carry it, changing my daughter, etc. Far more than I need tbh but I do really appreciate it. 
I don't want work (other than my manager) to know until it's obvious, and other family and friends I'm waiting until out 12 weeks scan, possibly later if I feel I want to leave it a little longer. I told my friends we were trying again but that I may not want to share are early as last time and asked them not to ask me about it and they were v understanding so I hope my family will be too if I wait til post 17 weeks to share our news.

I had a loss at 26 weeks, so with my rainbow I won’t be announcing for as long as I can hide it....

I feel this. I’ve had two miscarriages. The first one we announced right away to close family and the second one we didn’t announce to anyone, and this one (I’m 7 weeks 4 days) I’m going to wait to tell close family until I get a heartbeat. Announcing to the world around 14 weeks if I make it that far. I get some people like to tell people in case they loose it and they want a support system but I kind of found it awkward. Like everyone was always on my ass asking me questions about how I felt and stuff and I just wanted to be left alone. So that second loss went a lot better because I didn’t tell them I was pregnant and then about 2 weeks after the loss I finally told them I had, had another miscarriage.

So I’ve had 2 miscarriages- the first one we announced publicly at around 8 weeks or so, and I miscarries at about 10 weeks. The second we had only announced to a few close friends/family members but I miscarried around 6 weeks so it was never public.
With my rainbow baby I announced to a small handful of my closest supporters as soon as I found out (my bffs, and sister), then I announced to closer family a little after 12 weeks and announced publicly around 16 weeks.

So, I was in the same boat. I miscarries at 12 weeks the day after I announced on social media. When I got pregnant again a few months later, I told my immediate family and close friends again almost immediately. I needed the support because I was scared out of my mind. I also had 10,000 doctors appointments, so I told my employer too.

We had a missed miscarriage at 9w5d in June that resulted in a D&C. We had told family & a few friends but not announced publicly.
This pregnancy we told my parents, my husband’s parents and two of our close friends right away and announced to everyone else at 14 weeks.

So my misscarriage we announced after we received the ultrasound around 7weeks , and that was public and family I ended up miscarrying on the day I hit the second trimester, then I had a chemical this year that not even my fiancé knows about... I wanted to go through that alone... but this time WHEN we get pregnant again we plan on waiting until 3 months- 2nd trimester to tell family and wait even longer to publicly announce, all in all it’s up to you and if you want to include your partner, as any woman whose experienced a misscarriage we understand as a whole how hard and scary it is to relax with an upcoming pregnancy, YOU need to be comfortable especially for the baby!
And if anyone else is comfortable with the idea of getting a doula or just a support person, I plan on getting one to reduce my stress once I get pregnant (the worst thing you can do is worry, plus some doulas have medical experience ) they could go to ultrasounds or just chat but help you overcome that fear of losing your babu 😊

Haven't really decided yet, but I think we will probably announce at around 16 weeks. My doctor said the first 14 weeks are the most sensitive (not just 12). And I'll have an appointment at around 16 weeks and when everything is good, I'll think we're going to announce then.
With my previous miscarriages we never announced, we only told close family and friends afterwards.

I wanted to wait the first trimester out but my mom got suspicious and I didn't want to straight up lie, so we told close family immediately after our first scan that showed everything was well. I was still terrified until we passed the week at which we lost our previous one and got another scan the next week - I got happier and calmer and after that, we started telling extended family.

I announced at 14weeks with my rainbow. I actually never announced my baby I lost until after I lost the baby I made it known because it was part of my healing process. But I waited until I had 2 different scans and could pick up baby’s heartbeat on my home monitor.
