I’m supposed to start birth control next week and i’ve seen a lot of posts that it makes you gain weight and i’m scared it’ll make me gain weight...

It might, it might not. I was told by a doctor that if your body tends to gain weight easily, you *may* gain weight on BC and if you dont easily gain weight, you're less likely to. It mostly depends on how your body reacts to whatever you take. Most birth control makes me lose a few pounds due to lack of appetite. Even depo made me lose weight. However nuvaring made me hungry all the time and made me bloated. It really just depends
