Do you enjoy breastfeeding?

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was having to explain why I did it, why I didn’t stop after 6 months, and why I think the reason most people don’t do it is lack of education and support.

Not at first because it’s hard! But once it becomes easier, I would sometimes enjoy it. I think it has it’s downsides as well...

Nope! I hate it, to be honest 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve had mastitis twice and thrush. My nipples are not made for it and they are completely different in size making it difficult with shields and pumping, not to mention the pain. BUT I’m hell bent on breastfeeding my last child. Thank goodness I have a supportive husband and a great LC this time around. With my first son, I didn’t make any milk. Not a drop. With my second son, I got mastitis and became septic. It was horrific. This time around I’m just over here winging it and we’ll see how it goes 💁🏼‍♀️ We’re six weeks in and still going strong.
