This guy I really like i think likes me back, he is always nice, he talks to me heaps and we never run out of conversations, he always says hi and checks up on me. I told my best friends about him and asked them not to judge or anything.

They said yeah of course but once I told them his name, it's unusual but cute haha, they were laughing and constantly making fun of it. They would tease me with it in class and talk about it behind my back. Then if I got mad or upset they would be all innocent.

I ended up just saying I didn't like him anymore and the first thing they said was thank god for that. I feel sad because I am always nice about people they like. What should I do about it?? They still make fun of it and it makes me feel like they won't support me if I end up being with him in future :(
