My first week of Keto...
Howdy guys!
I've been on the keto diet for 8 days now. The second day I did get the keto flu which Dr. Stephen Phinney's videos on YouTube helped me through. I upped my sodium and now I add MCT oil and butter to my coffee in the mornings for a fatty boost of energy. I've always had digestive issues in the past which worried me when starting this diet but my digestion has been better than ever and my energy rose after day 5 allowing me to complete a 4 hr hike yesterday with my husband. The only issues I'm having right now is figuring out what to snack on and what to eat for breakfast. I've exhausted my snacking on cold cuts and breakfast on eggs and bacon. I need ideas! Halp!
