Any body else’s 1st PP period come back in beast mode ?

My little one is 7 months old and this is my first period since she was born, I’m exclusivity breastfeeding and my period is super heavy and super painful. Anyone else?

I'm cramping more than before, nothing compared to when I had ovarian cysts though and the flow is about the same. I bled 3 months straight after getting nexplanon at 6 weeks pp, I just got it out and have my first real period at 4 months pp so that may be why it isn't heavier. It isn't uncommon for it to be heavier but I'm not sure why it's more painful.

Yup! I got mine back when my daughter was 2 months old and it was heavy with clots. Super sucky

Yup. Mine was a murder scene and lasted two months. We only got it to stop by going on birth control.

Mine was the most hellish period I’ve ever known! I had to shower 4 times the day of my first PP period. I’ve always had heavy periods but it was just crazy. Changing/showering/ leaking through everything! I was so iron deprived and needed iron tablets. Luckily it calmed down after the first one x
