Is it absolutely necessary to wait the entire 7 days before having unprotected sex?

I'm 14 weeks pp and got the arm implant 7 days ago now. We used condoms for the first couple of days and then went away on a road trip so we didnt have any sex at all. Then we got home yesterday when I had had the nexplanon in for 6 days. We had unprotected sex and he finished inside me.

Should I be worried??? I really wanted to wait until 7 days had passed but it sort of just happened and I didnt tell him to use a condom because I had missed the feeling of unprotected sex so much that I just enjoyed myself.

I'll add that I had one period at 7 weeks pp but never had another one so it's been 7 weeks since my last period and I'm exclusively breastfeeding
