Should I take baby to ER?

My baby is 17 weeks and the last couple days started getting a cough and today it’s really bad. She’s wheezing, coughing really hard and super stuffy even after sucking her nose out and won’t stop crying. She doesn’t have a fever though. She has an appointment with her ped tomorrow at 8, should I wait til then or take her in tonight?

If she’s wheezing I would take her to the ER.

They say if there are indents in her rib or collarbone area when baby breathes in that it’s a red flag. Or if the nostrils flare when breathing. 
Could you call the pedi and ask them their thoughts if they have a 24/7 line.

Wheezing is one of the first signs of asthma, I would at least make a phone call. I always worry so I would  take her just to be sure. She is still very young.

My LO has RSV and needed breathing treatments, it lasted a week.

Sounds like it could be RSV. The nasal mucus is very thick and hard to remove. I would definitely watch and determine how hard baby is working to breathe. Call your ped or a nurse advice line.
