She skipped a step?

Question

First off, my baby gets tummy time every day. 10 minutes at least but mostly more. She rolled over ONCE last month from belly to back, but never again since. I thought it was an accident honestly. 
Today, though, she's rolled from back to belly about 3 times! Definitely intentional. Soooo...is there any reason why can roll the "harder" way but not the easier one?

They actually say that the belly to back first is outdated! That was the case when babies were put on their belly to sleep so it is perfectly normal for them to roll back to belly first since they sleep on their back.

Following! My boy is the same. He’s been rolling back to front for almost 2 weeks now and only accidentally rolled front to back once, otherwise he doesn’t even try. Curious too :)

Mine has been rolling back to belly for a few weeks now but hasn’t shown a remotely close ability to roll belly to back. I’m sure she’ll just surprise us one day!
