Is my supply going to go down without nursing at night?

I have a 2 month old and we exclusively breastfeed, she has been sleeping 6-7 hour stretches the past couple nights. Is my supply going to go down If I let her sleep at night? Or do I need to wake her up every 3 hours so my supply wont decrease?

Your supply will adjust. So you will produce less at night (when baby sleeps) and more during the day (when baby needs milk).
As long as there’s no concerns with your baby’s weight gain there’s no need to wake her. It may take a few days for your supply to adjust, so expect to feel pretty full the first few times you go 7+ hours without nursing or pumping, but your body will figure it out. 
As long as baby keeps demanding milks during the day, your daytime supply shouldn’t be affected by not nursing at night.

My girl will be 10 weeks on Thursday. A few weeks ago she slept longer stretches from 6-9 hours at night. I didn’t nurse during the night for a few days and I felt like my supply went down. I am ftm still learning everything so I reached out to 2 different lactation consultants and they said it will depend on a woman’s milk storage capacity, if they have oversupply, etc., but that most women do need to express milk every 2-3 hours no more than 4 otherwise they could see a dip in supply. They both said for a smaller group of women it won’t be necessary but most women need to express In some way by nursing, pumping, haaka, manual pump something to maintain supply. One did say If anything you can try moving however many night feeds you eliminate to the day so your baby is still eating as much as usual but all during day. You totally could be fine sleeping through or you may not. Your milk could be regulated or it might not be. Personally I would try going a few nights if baby allows and see how you both do! Here are some posts they sent me which I found helpful. Figures crossed it works for you and you can skip the motn feed!!!!

So glad you posted this! Came here searching for the exact same question. My baby has been sleeping longer at night and I wasn’t sure if I needed to wake him to make sure my supply is sufficient for him. I haven’t been too engorged so maybe my body is adjusting. I don’t want him to run out of milk

It will shift. Like it may let down less at night but you'll make more during babys awake hours if that makes sense.
