Dock-A-Tot or Snuggle Me?

IF SOMETHING ELSE COULD YOU PLS COMMENT BELOW WITH WHAT YOU USE OR GOING TO USE😁. I’ve been really wanting a Dock-A-Tot and my husband thinks it’s pointless. We are planning on having a halo bassinet (so not co-sleeping). He thinks that if I’m not holding the baby he can be in the swing or on a blanket on the floor (we don’t have any animals and have carpet) or the pack n play. I’ve read that babies can get flat head in bassinets and that was one of the things I was thinking about using the Dock-A-Tot even though it isn’t approved for unsupervised sleeping. I’ve read others use it in the halo bassinet and since the Dock-A-Tot sides are breathable I’m figuring it would be safe but my husband isn’t comfortable with it.

Neither. A swaddle in a bassinet is all that we will be using. Those aren’t safe for sleep.

your husband is right, they are essentially pointless. babies grow out of them insanely quick and they aren’t safe either. swaddling in their bassinet is the route to go.

We’ve got the snuggle me organic. It cocoons the baby more then the doc a tot. We’ll be using it for something to put baby down in during the day so we can do things like eat, bathroom, etc. Some people forget or have never experienced a baby that won’t be put down.

I have a Boppy Lounger for when the baby isn’t in my arms, the swing, or the bassinet! I got one used for $10 & bought new covers for it ($12 for a two pack). 
I miiiight get one of those infant pillows (I believe also by Boppy) because of the flat head concern but I feel like maybe it’s unnecessary

I wanted a snuggle me for so long even though I knew it wouldn’t be used for sleeping, they are not safe for that. I essentially just wanted it for like baby pictures and eventually tummy time there’s a certain way on their website it shows you can do it, but like I realized it’s a materialistic need not a want in anyway since baby will never be left in it for long or unsupervised so if it’s in your budget I’d suggest a snuggle me but it’s essentially pointless
