Hospital Stay Argument

So tonight I asked my husband if he wanted me to make a list for things he needed for his hospital bag. And his respond totally ruined my night! We know that I am getting a csection due to fibroids so we are expecting the hospital visit to be a couple of nights, at least. Anyway, he tells me that does not plan to spend any nights at the hospital with me. It’s his plan to go home each night and just come to visit during the day. He said my expectations are too high! Am I crazy for expecting him to be by my side the entire time?
