My son is 13 months old and still in a crib in our bedroom.

What age should I transfer him to a toddler bed in his own room?

He is in daycare and they take naps on little cots/beds that are low to the ground, so I feel like he could be ready soon enough.

I am also having another baby in March and my son will be 16 months old. So it will be pretty much impossible to have the crib in our room and also the new baby.

I also need to add that he is pretty tall, and I am concerned he may try to climb out of his crib in a few months :/

Suggestions?? I guess I’m just scared to make the decision because I don’t know how I should approach it.
