Drool rash? My doctor said to just wash it, dry it and put aquaphor but it looks rough. Anyone else going through this? Thinking of getting a second opinion.

Try corn starch just a little to keep it dry, and put bibs on him i had to do this with my oldest, creams made it worse because it stayed moist.

My son had this because he is so chunky drule will get into his little rolls and wouldn’t get dried all the way. We just put desitin cream on it and it cleared right up within hours. Hope it gets better soon!

Literally just took my daughter to the doctor this morning for a rash like that but hers isnt that bad. She said it's a yeast infection rash and that you need to clean it and then thoroughly dry it and slather it with desitin 😣

My little girl has something similar around her mouth where she spits and smears saliva on her cheeks. We just the same just clean it and dry it .... it sucks tho

I’ve seen a lot of people put baby powder there because of drool!

My son has had something similar. Ive just washed it, dried it really good and then put breast milk on it. His cleared up after a day or so.

A mom friend of mine told me that Canesten (yeast infection cream) works the best for teething rashes. I haven’t tried it yet as my LO hasn’t started a rash on his neck yet.

My daughter had that as well. Our ped has us mix up a cream of lotrimin and 1% hydrocortisone cream and apply it twice a day. After we apply that, we put a layer of butt paste over it to kind of seal off the area from drool and it has gotten sooo much better
