Should I buy my cousin condoms? Read below

Ok, so I’m 24 and my cousin is finishing up 8th grade then will be starting high school! She’s interested in guys but she still kinda stays to herself as she gets nervous around guys. If that makes sense. My Aunt is more lowkey than my mom, but she definitely wouldn’t be buying my cousin protection. She has no need for it now, but I would rather she has it and just to be careful. I don’t want her to reply on some guy to provide the protection of them not have any and they do it raw. I remember when I was 18 and in my senior year, still a virgin, but bought condoms for a friend that was younger than me. I held onto them and they literally just sat in my closet. She took one and My friends and I took one and filled it up with water. My mom found it and sat me down like a counselor and she asked if I was still a virgin and made a big deal about condoms. She kept them. That made me ashamed of sex and for even buying them. I personally don’t see anything wrong, it’s better to be safe but am I crossing a boundary as that’s not my kid?
