Pregnant again?

I am 6 weeks 4 days postpartum. Anyone know the chances of becoming pregnant again? Also when would I be able to take a pregnancy test since I havnt got my first period yet and don’t know when exactly its supposed to come....

A lot of things come in play! Are you EBF, are you showing signs of ovulation, when did you bleeding stop. Some women will get a period early but most women don’t ovulate with that period. It’s different for everyone.

If you’re getting symptoms I’d ask the doctor for a blood test and discuss your concerns.

It's gonna be different for everyone - I had my first period at 8 weeks postpartum with my daughter, then I had 3 more periods in regular length cycles, then it went away again for 8 months! I was exclusively breastfeeding the whole time. So far this time my son is 5 and a half weeks so my postpartum bleeding hasn't *quite* stopped yet, no idea what's going to happen with the period! 
If you get a period, usually it means you ovulated, and when you ovulate you could get pregnant. 
If you're not breastfeeding, and if you've had unprotected sex, take a pregnancy test.
