I think it’s perfect! My brother and I are 3 years apart. We were really close as young kids but then in middle/high school we really drifted. Got a bit closer after high school again, but I also feel like we would’ve been much closer for that middle part of our adolescence if we had been a year closer in age. The 3 year gap felt very big when like I was 15 and he was 12.

My brother & i are 16 months apart & we hated each other. We'd play together but we were never friends & even now dont really talk. My boys are 3 and a half years apart didnt want to big an age gap, but didnt want 2 in nappys & still young enough to play together. Theres just over 3 years between m nephew & eldest and thet have always played so nicely together.

My daughters are 22 months apart and I love it so far! We started trying after my first daughter turned one, thinking it would take a while (I was 30 and have fibroids and cysts and my obgyn said it would be more difficult). Well it happened our first time tracking and I freaked out because I was hoping for about 2 1/2 years apart. My youngest is now about 6 months and it’s so cute watching them together. It was difficult getting into a routine in the beginning, but I’m so excited for how close they’ll be growing up.

I think it’s good! My daughter is about to turn 2 & I’m due in April. So they’ll be 2 years & 3 months apart. ☺️

I'd say it depends on the kid. I would have loved to have another right after my daughter but I was in a bad place in life. Years later things got better and I had my son. My husband and I had planned on back to back but I'm so happy we didnt. My son is almost two and I could never imagine having another child and being able to keep him alive as well, he is WILD and always has been. Theres no possible way I could effectively keep both little ones happy
