Anybody starting baby on solids at 4 months?

Question

I’m just wondering. My pediatrician told me when I had my last one it was okay at 4 months to introduce solids. But I waited awhile because he wasn’t interested. But my new little one is VERY interested in food.. I’m just not sure I want to start him on solids just yet. (Yes I know, some say 4 and some say 6).

I'm going to ask my pediatrician at her 4 month visit in 2 weeks. My little girl is so interested in what we eat too. She stares at us. Lol.

My 3 month old is super into what we are eating and always seems like he wants sum so I will fasure be staring him on solids at 4months

My first started around 4.5 months, he was very interested and would open his mouth if I “offered” food - looking back, I wish I would have waited a little longer only because he had a lot of tummy issues. This time around this little one seems to have zero interest in foods still, wont even care to open mouth so maybe he will be closer to 6 months but I’m so surprised how they are so different lol

I was going to wait until 6 months, but he’s been very interested in food for the last week or so. So, I decided to give it a try now. I gave him some baby oatmeal last night and he loved it! I feel that he’s ready, and I think I was right. He did really well with it, and seemed so happy to be eating something new. He’s 17 weeks today, and will officially be 4 months this weekend.

As long as my son seems interested I will. We did with my daughter and she was fine

My son will be 4 months on the 8th. We have started oatmeal cereal with formula this week. And he is keeping it down. He is drinks 7 to 8 ounces every 3.5 to 4 hours and that wasn’t really filling him up. I know his dr told us to wait but I feel like if we wait until then he would be using a lot of formula

My midwives said we could start at 4 months so we’ll see. I might try a little bit here and there and see how she goes
