PLEASE HEAR ME OUT! Help.
Hello Ladies,
Before I get into the situation I feel like I should tell you a bit about myself first.
I’m a 17 year old, 5’2” girl who weighs about 85 lbs. (my doctors aren’t alarmed about my weight because I’ve always been on the thin side).
I’ve been to several doctor and gynecologist checkups recently and my health is normal. I don’t have any diseases or medical conditions. No diabetes or anything of that nature. My gynecologist did an ultrasound on me a few months ago and said all my reproductive organs are healthy and working as they should be.
My body functions like clockwork. The same time every month, I get my period. My whole life I’ve never missed a single one however this month, it never came.
I am sexually active and do have a boyfriend. Earlier this month (December 7th, exactly 5 days before I ovulated), we did something stupid and for literally 2 seconds he stuck himself in me raw. (In and back out ONCE). That’s all he did along with some skin to skin rubbing before that.
Two weeks after that day I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Then 6 days before my EXPECTED period, I took a digital test which claimed to be able to scan 6 days in advance to a MISSED period. (I mixed the days up when I took them so I took the 2nd digital test 1 day too soon). That also came back negative.
The week leading up to the first test, I thought I was having symptoms. I was extremely bloated every day, had mild cramping and was hungry all the time but after I took the test and got the negative, the symptoms seemed to slow down and eventually stop. So I’ve ruled it off as my head playing tricks on me.
The 2nd negative confirmed to me that I wasn’t pregnant although I took it a day too early. However, my period never came this month.
I’m not stressed, I don’t have any medical conditions relating to missed periods either so those factors are out as to why it didn’t come this month. I don’t feel any pregnancy symptoms either.
What could it be? Should I be concerned? What should I do?
