I was 4w 5d pregnant as at today. I had a follow up hcg test this morning and received the horrible news that my levels had dropped to almost nothing and that I could expect a miscarriage in the next day or 2.

I had a feeling this was coming as yesterday I started getting cramps and noticed in the evening that my pregnancy symptoms had pretty much disappeared 😔

I have been very lightly spotting dark brown since last night (barely anything). I am not sure how much bleeding I should expect this early on - is it like a period? Or is this it?

Waiting for the inevitable is horrible 😢
