So many people have told me that fevers from teething are a myth.

My daughter had a fever for two days off and on ... 101.5 and even up to 102.5 (rectal temp). I took her to the pediatrician and although she had a fever while at the doctor, she tested negative for the flu, ear infection, uti, etc. The doctor said it’s probably just a cold.

She really has no signs of being sick other than the fever BUT she does have two top teeth coming in right now. The fever continued off and on for another two days, making it a total of four days.

I don’t understand how the fevers could be anything other than teething? I’m feeling super confused.

Has anyone else experienced fevers from teething even though others say it’s not possible?
