I personally would not recommend the diva cup. I would recommend measuring your cervix before you invest in a menstrual cup because the height of your cervix has a lot to do with the fit of your menstrual cup. If your cervix is high or low it can have a lot to do with the fit of your cup. I personally have a low cervix while I’m on my period, and guess your cervix does move, so the diva cup was not a right fit for me because while it was convenient and nice it was never quite comfortable and I could never understand why cause I was inserting it correctly and such. Because of this I would recommend measuring your cervix before you invest in a cup, as they are ranging from $20-$35 depending on the brand. Also keep in mind the diva cup is not the only brand of menstrual cup out there are lots of other brands that might be a better fit than a diva cup. There’s also a menstrual disc that you could use which is what I use because the menstrual cup is not a good fit for me, but if you have a low cervix you can invest in a menstrual cup that is for a low cervix specifically, it’s the same price, it’s just shaped differently and it works just as well.￼￼￼ That said, while I was using the diva cup I took a size one and I have never given birth to children, I believe that the diva cup recommends that you use a size one if you’ve never given birth to children vaginally if you look on their website it gives you good recommendations as to the sizing of the cup but if it doesn’t fit well you can always size up or down. But a cup always fits different for each person but like I said I personally would recommend measuring your cervix first and you can find lots of information on what an average cervix measurement is and that should be done during your period typically.￼
