Take more pills?

Question

I put the pills up my vjj to help expel my no longer viable baby 8 wks along (as doctors put it) and my cramping and bleeding was not as terrible as ive read and stopped within 6 hours. I only lost 2 little clots and I had a subchorionic hemorrage as well so I know it should be so much more blood then I lost! I placed the recommended 4 at once and my doc gave me plenty more idk why but she did say I may have to do it again 24 hrs later...so should I or no? Ive never done this before...please help! 🙁

I was given two doses to be taken 48 hrs apart. Everyone kept telling me at 6 weeks the cramping and bleeding was going to get worse. So I took the first dose then the second dose two days later. It was HORRIBLE. Never felt such pain in my ass, of all places. Turns out i passed the "tissue" before taking either dose. So if your bleeding is lightening up, you might consider skipping the pain of misoprostal and get a blood test to verify hcg is zero and an ultrasound for all tissue gone.

Is it Misoprostol? If so, I took 4 pills orally and then 4 more 24 hours later. I would double check with your doc though. Unfortunately it did not work for me and I ended up having a d&c 😒 though i did hear it has a pretty high success rate...good luck with everything.

I had to do this in July and my doctor only gave me enough to do it once, then had me come back in a week for an ultrasound to see if it worked fully. It’s confusing that your doctor gave you more medicine and said “may” have to use more. I would call the office for clarification. I’m sorry for your loss and that you have to go through this 😏

*UPDATE* So i just wanted to give a update for anyone who is going through this. The pills after many doses never ended up working! I mean ive bled but not even half pad amounts then went down to spotting lightly sooo we waited this wk out and set a appt for today which would be my 10th wk of being pregnant. Had another ultrasound....baby still not growing (measuring like maybe 7 wks) but everything else still growing and acting like baby is fine which i feel makes it even harder 🙁 my hemmorage is still the same as well so since nothings working its surgery day! I didnt want this and not because of it being a "surgery" i am actually extremely afraid of anestesia lol but my doc is great and is really reassuring so i know i will be fine but my point here is....this definetly isnt everyones story but if i could go back i would just do the surgery from the start because we have gone through weeks of tests and ultrasounds and up and downs with thinking it might be ok then not then being so sick and the pills made me even worse! So if you think it would be easier but feel guilty or scared DONT ....just get it done so you can move on 🤗 much love ladies!
