Shes 11 months old. On monday (its now thursday) i took her to the doctor for a fever of 100.9 and possible ear infection. She had no infection and tested negative for flu. Ever since then she has had a very runny nose sneezing everywhere and a cough that just sounds horrible. Its wet and she’s definitely coughing up mucus but instead of spitting it out she keeps swallowing it and choking. She can barely sleep at night from how much shes coughing. And she’s not eating as much. Things I’ve tried:

Cool mist humidifier

Saline drops/nose suction

Sat in bathroom with steamy shower

Put vicks babyrub on her chest

Fresh air

I did give her zarbees cough medicine once but her doc says not to give it to her anymore. What else can i try? When do i take her back in if it doesnt get better? She just looks so run down😭
