LO has had RSV for a week. I posted this message on Facebook on Tuesday which caused my mother in law to have a total meltdown and she told my husband I was “pushing her away” from her grandchild.

“I know everyone always says “don’t let anyone touch your baby, make them wash their hands or use sanitizer, don’t be around people with colds” but at this time of year, holiday pressures got the best of me. I should have been more assertive. So mamas-to-be out there - take it from me - do whatever you need to do to keep your little ones safe.”

THEN today she asked to come see him over lunch & I said fine because my husband was pissed at me for posting that. She proceeded to walk in, NOT wash her hands, pick him up and kissed him 10 times ON THE HEAD in the 30 minutes she was here. I didn’t say anything AGAIN and then I SCREAMED at my husband when she left and he said “Thanks for not saying anything.” I’m absolutely fuming. I don’t know what to do.
