Baby movement

I have a posterior placenta and am 16 weeks. Doctors keep saying I’ll feel movements early. I keep reading baby movement is more like flutters or bubbles but occasionally I feel a pretty centralized tightening in places. Could this still be the baby moving or is this Braxton hix? It doesn’t go across my whole uterus when it happens. I am a thin person so wondering if that is why baby movement might feel different to me too. Or maybe it’s just my uterus stretching. It’s confusing!

Thank you! It does feel like something literally rolling. I was thinking it might be when the baby balls up or turns over

I never felt the flutters with my first at all. With this one I actually felt something similar to what you're describing, but in the sides/top of my belly. When I put my hand where it was hurting I could feel something pushing back. Have you ever tried to push back? Gently of course

Oh I am 15 weeks and I am exactly the same with that tightening feeling and I'm also a small person! I have an anterior placenta last pregnancy so I didnt feel until later and it was very clear.

So do you think it’s the baby or is it most likely just uterus stretching ?
