Favorite activities for 8 week old?

Question

What do you do with your baby during the day? (Around 8 weeks of age)
Also, any tips on naps? Mine won’t sleep during the day unless he’s being bounced in his bouncer... or napping next to me in bed. Sleeps in a bassinet at night in our nursery.

We do floor mat time, tummy time, and sit me up time. Some babies aren’t ready for the sit me up at 8 weeks though. But my little one is pretty strong and tolerates it for 5-10 minutes at a time. I try and do 1 hour awake times in between naps to ensure good naps and sleep at night. Consistency is key. If you want naps in a crib or bassinet then put them in. When they wake soothe and put back down.

Mine at 8 weeks loved his play gym for tummy time, in his crib I have a light that plays lullabies and he stares at that and I move it around his crib so he can turned his head and help with flat spots, I walk around my house with him so he can look and explore. When it comes to naps he really isn’t on a schedule and he is 10weeks. And right now he is going through leap 2 so he only wants to nap in my arms. But before I could swaddle him, nurse him, and lay him down and he would fall asleep after play time.
