38 weeks

I'm pretty sure I just lost my mucus plug so I let my boyfriend know. This man has a 4 year old with someone else and is convinced that my water broke and I have to go to the hospital now.

I'm not having any other symptoms of labor, no leaking, no contractions, no bloody show. I just got off the phone with L&D and they told me that unless I'm having any of the other symptoms there's no real point to me coming in but I could go and get checked if I'd like to. I'm a FTM so I'm kind if clueless here. Any suggestions?
