Emergency cervical stitch?

Hi ladies, just curious to know if any of you have been put at high risk due to an incompetent cervix? 
I had a huge scare last week at 22 weeks, my cervix has shorted and funnelled open and contractions started. I had an emergency stitch done on Saturday and now counting each day, week as a blessing. This is my first pregnancy so I’m new to everything and now I’m in at the deep end! Has anyone else had this?

This is my 3rd cervical stitch (called a cerclage). My first was an emergency at 18 weeks when I was already 2cm dilated. It failed 2 days later and we lost her. I got pregnant 3 months later, and that time I had a preventative cerclage at 13 weeks. He was born at 40+1 so that was very successful. I’m now expecting my 2nd child. I had another preventative cerclage at 13 weeks this time again. I’m 34+1. They are amazing and they save babies’ lives. Praying your cerclage does its job too. Good luck.

I had emergency cerclage on 21 weeks with my first pregnancy. I had a beautiful baby boy on the week 30. As he was a premature , he was in nicu for more than one month. Now he is one and half year old. 
Presently I am 17 weeks pregnant and I had preventative cerclage last week. This time also my cervical length was 2.1, on 16th week. I am just praying that this time I make it full term. Counting the days. I am due on June 2020.

I've had both the preventative cerclage and the emergency cerclage. Both pregnancies I made it full term but I was also taking progesterone shots/makena injections once a week.

I had an emergency cerclage places at 23 weeks and 5 days. At 34 weeks and 4 days I dilated to 1cm and my cerclage was removed at 35 weeks and 5 days my water broke my little man was born at 36 weeks exactly. Bedrest, stitch, progesterone injections, and many many appointments and trips to L&D
