Ibuprofen 800 while breastfeeding?

I just gave birth and was prescribed ibuprofen 800. I’ve been taking it for the last 2 days. The hospital knew I was breastfeeding. 
My baby is not really peeing. Today she did pee and it was red/ orange (uric acid crystals).
I’m wondering if the ibuprofen could be causing her not to pee 
Today I took my baby to the pediatrician and I forgot to ask. 💔😥 They told me if my baby doesn’t give me a wet diaper today then I need to contact them and have her evaluated at the Hospital.

They would not have prescribed it if it wasn’t safe.

The urine issues sound more like possible dehydration. How often and how long is baby nursing? Are you having a let down that you can feel? Is baby getting a suck swallow rhythm?

This happened with my first. He was latching but not transferring milk. Call the pediatrician, but also try to get in with an BCLC and do a weighted feed.

Your baby sounds very dehydrated. I would call her pediatrician ASAP

It's urinary crystals. The orange is a sign of dehydration. Make sure that baby is getting enough to eat. My LO would get them every once and a while, but if you see them regularly definitely call your Dr. :)
