Colposcopy/ biopsy while pregnant?

My pap came back abnormal high grade and I'm scheduled for a colposcopy next week. I asked my doctor to not take any biopsies, but she said if she sees anything concerning she will have to. Has anyone had a biopsy while pregnant? I'm just concerned about the baby

I did with my son.  He's 14 years old now.  I freaked out and had to see an oncologist who tried to get me to terminate my pregnancy and get a hysterectomy.  I refused.  Went back to my regular doctor and he done the colpo and biopsy.  After he put a tampon in and told me to remove it in a few hours.  No problems at all with my pregnancy.  I did end up having the leep surgery when my son was about 2.  Since then I have been clear and went on to have a daughter who is almost 17 months old and I'm due 7/22/20 with my 3rd!

I had a pap & she put the dye in to see but didn’t take any biopsies bc I was pregnant. I don’t see why they can’t wait till after baby comes to do the biopsies.

I was supposed to have one 2 weeks from the day I found out I was pregnant but I cancelled it.

My sister had one done when she was pregnant with my nephew. He’s 9months right now.

I am in the same boat but my OB said it’s safe with no additional risk of miscarriage. I have a colposcopy on the 31st.
