Cramping, early labor or just practice?

37+4 days at the moment and experiencing a lot sharp cramping.  It’s Inconsistent in timing and Lasts 30 secs at the most.  wondering how many of you mamas experienced this and how close were you to actually going into labor?

I had what I thought were bad Braxton Hicks around 1pm on a Wednesday that were inconsistent and stopped after a few hours. But later that night when I went to bed, they intensified and wouldn’t go away. I had my bloody show the next morning and water broke 25hours after the “Braxton Hicks.” It’s different for each person, but keep an eye on it and time them. If they don’t get better by changing positions, you could be in labor.
