Healing after laparoscopy

Hey ladies..

I had my second laparoscopy about a week before Thanksgiving. This one was a little more involved than my first, because of a large endometrioma the doctor had to remove from my right ovary. I’m currently on my second cycle post surgery, and it’s still pretty painful (cramping) and heavy (flow), but thankfully it’s only been that way today, CD 3. After my first laparoscopy, my periods were all pretty painless after the first one post surgery. Did anyone else have either a longer time healing internally (from what you could tell period-wise) after a laparoscopy, or can you tell me how long it took for your periods to calm down?
