Diaper Pail?

Ok I'm 4 weeks out from my due date and realized I hadn't even considered what I'd be doing with all those diapers we will be changing. 🤦‍♀️

I have been hesitant to buy a diaper pail that comes with the special bags because that's just one more constant expense that I really don't want to deal with when we are trying to be frugal.

I saw that there are a few options that use regular trash bags, but I've seen mixed reviews about how well they hold smells.

So I'd love some opinions...

Do you think a diaper pail with special inserts (I'm thinking diaper genie type) are worth it?

Is there an option that doesn't require constant purchasing of the special bags that works well?

Do you have another brilliant idea for me that doesn't require taking the diapers to the outside trash every single time?
