Spotting and cramps

I’ve been spotting brown/pink since before I found out I was pregnant (I found out at almost 4 weeks and am currently 6). I keep seeing people saying ‘only worry if you are having cramps as well. Does this mean strong cramps? Or just any? As I am experiencing cramps but only dull aches, not painful. Any help would be great as I’m feeling very stressed ☹️
