Are you giving them a gift/thank you note?

Yes! Giving them a basket full of treats as well as post partum nurses. 
But this is only because I work in the NICU there and love all the nurses in the departments!

I brought in 2 big bags of mixed candy and set up a candy bowl in our room. I offered to have them bring it to their break room but they said in the room was fine and we got LOTS of visits and extra check ins from hospital staff wanting a sugar fix 😁🙃definitely doing that again this time around! Coffee is good too, like one of the big boxes with cups and creamers and stuff you can get at Dunkin’ Donuts!

Hospital peeps LOVE food! Doesn’t have to be anything fancy or expensive & elaborate!
Some of my favorites are a sub tray from subway or Walmart.
Donuts from this cute little local place.
The one patient sent this basket with snack packs of chips & all kinds of other snacks!
Just don’t forget about night shift. Days won’t save anything for nights—trust me—& if the nurses work 8’s (7-3,3-11,11-7) you might want to consider something for all 3 shifts so one one gets left out!
