For those who had twins...

I got a positive digital pregnancy test 6 days prior to my period. I just wondered if anyone had this before and had twins? Just seems odd that I got it earlier than the recommended time to take the test, the instructions say to take it 4-5 days prior to your period.

Or is my hormone just strong? Twins do run In my family as my grandads mum had 2 sets of twins Inc my grandad.
