Glow cycle chart out of wack!!

Amanda

Anyone else experience an incorrect ovulation chart? Seems that despite me logging daily and updating my period length, my ovulation cycle stays the same. For example there were a couple times my period lasted 7 days (I know...yikes!) instead of the reg 5 days. Despite adding those days my OC didn't change at all. My physical symptoms indicate that my chart is showing ovulation a week or so earlier than it might be happening for me. I'm not worried about getting pregnant as I have birth control and not having sex currently, but its just annoying I guess lol.

Same here I had a 7 day period last month and my ovulation didn’t change at all it stayed the same I’m like umm 🧐 that should’ve changed this why I’m not going to go off the app anymore because no matter how much I update it’s not correct .

Ovulation doesn't correlate to how long you bleed while on your period - it is about how long your cycle is beginning to end and how long your luteal phase is. Unless you're tracking ovulation by opks or cervical mucus (which you can't do when on birth control because ovulation shouldnt occur), then the app will not be accurate unless you ovulate exactly 14 days before your period every month.

I have a Paragard iud as birth control. Based on cervical mucus it seems I'm ovulating later than the app predicts

It's because the length of your period is irrelevant to when you ovulate. 😏 lol

And how do you know its incorrect? Are you tracking with opks & bbt?

Yea mine is never correct either even after using opks for months. If you ever are worried about when it specifically is I suggest taking bbt or getting opks. It’s more acurate.
