When to get 4D ultrasound

My husband can’t get off work to come to doctors appointments with me so we go to an outside ultrasound place and we got a deal and have a 4D ultrasound available for us whenever. I’m just not sure what week is a good one to get a good view of what baby boy will look like. We’re currently almost 15 weeks

I’d wait until at least until 25 weeks. That way baby is more plump and you’ll get a better idea of what he’ll look like. I got mine at 28 weeks with my son and it was a good time to go and was recommended by the 4D place I went to.

I got mine at 30 weeks! He was chunky and wasn’t too big to where they couldn’t get a good pic.

Like 28 weeks is the best time. We did one at 25 and they were still very cute!

They say 28-32 is the best time because baby looks close to what they will actually look like but they aren’t too squished yet.

I’d say between 24-26. They usually say if it’s too early the pictures won’t be as good because baby hasn’t built up enough fat yet and if it’s too late baby is too smushed to get any good pictures.
