Period 5 days late

I recently started birth control on Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a>. My period is 5 days late now . Is it a possibility that I could had got pregnant before started birth control ? Is it possible that I could be pregnant.
