Milk supply majorly decreased!
Okay please don’t judge!
I haven’t budged a single pound (15 to lose since giving birth 13 weeks ago to get to prepregnancy weight).
I’ve been working out using the GlowbodyPT postpartum workout plan 4x a week, and 2 weeks ago I began weight watchers, BUT I indicated that I was exclusively breastfeeding and they gave me a lot of extra points for it. I’m getting as many points as my husband who I kindly say needs to lose a decent amount. I also stock up on the 0 point proteins, veggies, and some fruits every day, and make sure I eat enough to hit all of my points.
Anyways, since starting the workouts but eating without weight watchers, I had seen a small decrease in milk supply, going from pumping 4 ounces at a time to about 3.5. Then last week after starting weight watchers it went to 3, but my baby wasn’t drinking much either from bottles. Now I’m at 1.5 - 2 ounces per breast. I still pump every 3-4 hours except at night. No changes there. I’m just sad because my boobs used to get so full and now nothing. I even have oatmeal, fenugreek, avocado, and nuts every day on top of protein and veggies. And drinking tons of water.
My big question is has anyone had milk decrease when eating healthy? My friend said she made the most milk when she ate “cheeseburger” type food and didn’t carefully monitor her diet. She said when she ate healthy she didn’t make as much. Anyone feel that is accurate for them? I’m think about experimenting tonight with stocking up on a fattening meal. Wondering if this will also help my baby to desire to eat more??

PS I’m also very stressed about going back to work because baby girl only eats an once at daycare each time. And cries the whole time. So that could be affecting it too.
Any tips??
Thanks!
