Sleeping Problems??

My LO is almost 6 months old and is will only sleep good on her stomach. We put her on her back and she will roll over to her stomach. We are cosleeping (she is in a Dock a Tot). It scares me so much but I am not ready for her to be in her own room yet. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

If she’s in a dock a tot and tummy sleeping that is a red flag to most professionals. Babes need more air flow like a bassinet or one of those mesh sided cosleepers. 
Honestly If babe is tummy sleeping I’d go ahead and move them to a crib or pack and play for safety.

Honestly get an angel care monitor and let her sleep In her own room, I am more comfortable with my son sleeping in his crib because he’s monitored and he’s been tummy sleeping since 4 weeks old because Of the monitor

If you have a crib you should get the newton mattress. It is a little pricey but if she keeps rolling over to sleep on her tummy the mattress is very breathable! Almost mesh like!

Can I ask why you’re not ready for her to sleep in her own crib/room at six months old?

Once they are independently able to roll from tummy to back and back to tummy the risk of SIDS drops dramatically, so I wouldn’t worry about her sleeping that way.

My baby has been rolling over to sleep on his tummy since 3.5 months. He can roll both ways. His pediatrician said that if they are strong enough to roll, then they are strong enough to move their head to the side to breath while on their tummy. I would be concerned about sleeping in a dock a tot tho! They are not meant for sleeping.

We cosleep about 50% of the time and the other 50% my LO sleeps in his crib. When he’s in his crib I let him sleep on his stomach because there’s nothing around him that might happen to get in his face & he also can roll both ways and has complete head control. When he’s sleeping with me I don’t allow him to sleep on his stomach though. The first few nights I let him sleep on his stomach I was a nervous mess! But he is sleeping so much better now and seems to be a lot more comfortable.
