I turned 39 weeks today (Saturday) and am scheduled for a c section on Tuesday. My husband has had the flu for the past week, he’s better but still has symptoms (fever is gone though). I left a message for my doctor, but I’ve worried about catching it myself before surgery and that he won’t be able to be in the operating room with me, let alone hold our baby girl for a while after she’s born 😕 Any words of wisdom or thoughts/advice from those in the medical field about how long he would be contagious? This is certainly now how I planned to spend the week prepping for baby 🤦‍♀️
