Green bean allergy?

My son only ate like 1/3 of a can of baby food green beans and about 30 minutes later he threw up and it looked clear and green mixed. Possible allergy? He hasnt ever thrown up with other baby foods and he usually eats a whole can

My son is allergic to all ‘legumes’ this includes lentils, pulses, beans, peas etc so it can be an allergy but his reaction is usually a rash round his mouth and swollen lips/eyes x

I would try again. Mine did that with apples the first two times he ate them and has had them since and been completely fine. Idk if his stomach wasn’t feeling good or if it was adjusting to possibly the acid in them?? But he had no other type of reaction except the throwing up

That could be a coincidence but you could always request testing

Dont sound like it. Seems he just ate too much. Try again but not as much.

Mine did this with mangoes! He has his 6 month appointment on Friday so I'll let you know what they tell me

My daughter is allergic to green beans. She threw up immediately and screamed in pain.  She didn't have a rash though.  We haven't tries again.

Did he seem to like the green beans when you fed them to him? He might just not like them. My daughter HATES green beans. She screamed and cried and then refused to eat anything for a few days after. I might never feed them to her again haha

Mine would touch green beans but I think she has a wheat allergy. She’s thrown up from oatmeal. I wasn’t sure if it was from catching something during Christmas. But I’ve noticed the last 2 times she’s had oat meal she’s projectile thrown up. I’m going to try it one more time to see if it does happen again or if she just wasn’t feeling good those two times. I can’t have gluten even though I will eat it anyway, but if she has the same issue as me then having one other person in my home I could stick to what I should eat.
