Symptoms fading?

Vanessa • 👼👼 🌈👶🏼

I am 7wk5days today and my symptoms are fading. I had been having horrible morning sickness for the past couple weeks then Thursday night it was like a light switch went off and I have been feeling completely fine. Even my boobs don't feel as sore as they were. I know it is "normal" for symptoms to come and go but do they go for days at a time? I'm so scared, I've had 2 miscarriages in the past year and my last mc the first thing I noticed was my symptoms fading. We saw baby and heartbeat at 6wk4 but my next scan isn't until the 29th ;/ I am also taking progesterone which I read can prolong the pregnancy even if it has stopped..idk I am just so nervous. As much as I hated the morning sickness, it was so reassuring. Would I be absolutely crazy to go and have a private scan done? Although I'm not sure they would even be able to tell me anything.

No not crazy at all! I had a miscarriage last year in July and got pregnant again in October last year and my entire pregnancy I was worried and went to those places where they do ultrasounds only like $20-30 depends where you go but every time I’d get worried id make an appointment for next day! And I’m currently in the same boat again right now! Thank goodness for those ultrasound places! They don’t tell you anything medical but they do tell you the bpm of the heartbeat and how big the fetus is how many weeks little stuff like that.

No you wouldn’t be crazy at all to go to a private clinic. I’m pregnant for the first time and I wasn’t going to have my first ultrasound until 13 weeks (which was yesterday) but it freaked me out so much that anything could be happening to my baby and we wouldn’t know, plus we wanted to tell family at Christmas time that we are expecting, so we went to a private clinic. It helped SO much! I heard the babies heart beat and watched her move all around. Also, my boobs were extremely sore for the first few weeks and did start to fade around 8-9 weeks.
