Negative pregnancy tests before bfp

Hi!

My husband and I have been trying for 8 months which I know it not long in the grand scheme of things but I am starting to get discouraged!

I got a positive ovulation test (clear blue) on the 24 and began having symptoms a few days ago; tender breasts, dizziness, fatigue, some white glue-like odourless discharge. I’ve taken 2x 6 day sooner clear blue pregnancy tests which have both been negative.

Has anyone had a similar experience and been positive later? I’m going to wait until my period in 3 days to test again.
