Ok so this is my 3rd baby so I’m pretty familiar with different formulas but this one has me confused.

My son was put on similac alimentum for reflux since he was spitting up his whole bottles. This shit is expensive (40 bucks for 22.3oz so I am trying to get it through his insurance or WIC but we have been thrown through a loop) He is healthy besides that little issue, we have tried 3 different formulas to help with that and it seems alimentum is the only one that works for it. He has been on it for a week and I have noticed he is constipated and gassy; Last night I went to target to get more formula but they didn’t have any of the alimentum so I decided to look at the other types and seen they have Similac spit up for healthy babies and enifimal A.R. I tried to call my mom for help but she didn’t pick up so I just got the A.R. and of course when I got home she called back. I asked her what I should do and she said to take it back and get the alimentum cause I could mess up his tummy giving him a different type. I tried to call the on call doctor but she never called back! I haven’t opened it yet and have been continuing the alimentum but with the way he is feeling ill if I should just switch or just take it back get the right kind and talk to his doctor on Monday?!
