Mirena while breastfeeding?

I'm 10 weeks postpartum and supposed to be getting a Mirena IUD in soon. I had one prior to pregnancy and absolutely loved it, but was curious about those that have it while breastfeeding. Any issues with supply dropping? I'll probably go through with it anyway, but want to know what to expect in advance. Thanks!

I had supply issues and my OB and lactation consultants both cautioned me against Mirena specifically (or the pill). I had it before trying to conceive, but wasn’t planning on getting it back because we wanted more soon. But I was told it can have a very adverse effect on milk supply

I have the Kyleena (which has less hormones than the Mirena), but I haven’t had any issues with supply

I don’t have the Mirena, but I have the Skyla and I’ve had no supply issues.

my little guy is still going strong at 8.5 months and I got my Mirena at 12 weeks pp. I usually pump 15-20oz per day plus nursing before bed and at least once at night.

I've got a Liletta (similar to Mirena) and have had no supply issues.

I’m supposed to get it soon and am 8 PP and EBF my daughter and my OB said Mirena was safe option while breastfeeding

Ive had mirena for two months, and ebf my 4 month old. No supply issues. I had some bleeding /spotting for about a month. I havent had sex with it, but otherwise seems fine.

I had skyla placed after my first was born. I was able to pump for a year with no issues.
