Testing out my trigger shot

I took my trigger shot 12/26 that night 12/28 AM we had our IUI. I started testing out 1 dpt, I am now 9DPT and 7 DPIUI. My schedule has been all over the place because some days I work nights so I took AM and PM tests. This is my first time testing out the trigger shot. I had 10,000 unit shot of pregnyl. Any tips or advice to testing it out?.. when did you test out and when did you start seeing a darker line if so? I feel like my 9DPT is slightly darker than my 8dpt. Thoughts?
