Do you drink Coffee while breastfeeding?

I would really love some Coffee. I’ve heard your baby will be fussy and not sleep?

If it doesn’t effect your baby go for it. NO WAY I could have survived the newborn stage without caffeine 😂 I wonder if those that avoid coffee also avoid chocolate and other things that contain caffeine (I get the amount of caffeine obviously differs heaps but how far do people take it....)

start my day with a cup a coffee and then baby eats and dozes right back off so i don’t believe so . have your coffee mama ❤️

I have 1-2 cups everyday. I breastfed my first for 16 months and I’m almost 3 months into it with my second baby. Never negatively effected them.

I became really sensitive to caffeine during pregnancy so I didn’t drink it. After I gave birth, I tried caffeine a few times and the baby didn’t like it. I think if your body is used to it then it’s ok.

My sister drank coffee with all 5...alor she was in school and then worked
Slept through the night (I know cause I grew up with her kids)
None of them were hyper growing up 
All are taller than normal too which is funny to see!

I do, but I just don’t have caffeine after noon just to be safe, and sometimes I have half caff. Doesn’t hurt to test it out! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I allow myself 1 regular a day and if I want more I drink decaf

I have decaffeinated coffee (which still has some caffeine) every day cuz i drink coffee for the flavor not the caffeine. It doesnt make my baby fussy or not sleep.

When my daughter was younger I found having a couple cups of coffee affected her. I would do one cup of regular and a cup of decaf, no issues 🙂
